Okay—so I could be better at this.  I know, I know, I know!  I most definitely have to set a couple days a week to write longer blog posts aside from all the random crap that interests me anyway.  

Eventful day (kind of), I spent the better half of the morning watching the Grey’s Anatomy finale (the only episode I’ve watched this season) and it was EXCELLENT!  Rumor has it that Meredith is going to leave the show?? Not sure what is going on there but (somewhat sadly) I think a major shooting at Seattle Grace was what the show needed to get back on track.  Amazing for a totally different reason…The Real Housewives of New York!  Kelly seems legitimately delusional and thank God everyone finally realizes what Bethenny has been talking about this whole time.

I am beginning to realize another ultimate Liz Lemon Moment.  Okay, so let me just get it out that I have some fine hair above my upper lip that could-be-called-a-mustache-but-it-is-not-because-you-can-barely-see-it-and-I-am-a-LADY!  The other night at one particular family dinner my family got to talking and my sister was like “oh yeah, you have a ‘stache.” ONE: who says ‘stache? TWO: please don’t crush my self esteem.  Am I going to be the 25 year old that needs to wax her upper lip FOREVER?  I am also very fearful about my chin-area.  There is a suspicious hair that keeps growing no matter what.  Am I going to be the 25 year old that needs to wax her upper lip and CHIN? What is that?! What is that?!?!

Liz Lemon, for all you devout fans of 30 Rock, has a “secret” mustache that she calls “Tom Selleck.”  I’ve decided to name mine Alex Trebek.  

Aside from my unruly and obnoxious hair I had quite a lovely time this past Monday in the city visiting my friend (and my roommate for this past semester) Katie!  Question: “Is it too early for sake at 2PM?”  Answer: “Never!”  Before ordering said sake I knocked my sunglasses off the table while trying to reach for the menu and preceded to tell the waiter that “I had already been drinking.”  Soooo Sake and sushi at lunch and then learning about evolution and ocean-life at the Natural History Museum?!  That’s a quality day people.  Plus cupcakes and a shot-gun happy hour (ahem, mojitos) in order to “say goodbye to each other.”  

In other news (and in true awkward fashion), before tennis camp the other day I was telling the other instructors (who are girls roughly my age) that I had a whole list of things in my phone that I call my “Summer To Do” List (I made it that morning, so really thoughtful things here.)  This list is located right next to my “Wine List.”  One of the girls asked me what was on it.  I said: “Um, not too much, I want to start buying Paul Mitchell Shampoo, and read more, and start picking out apartment things [Pause] and, this is kind of personal, I guess, but I really want a Brazilian wax.”  So, case closed, I may be one of the few people who would admit wanting a brazilian wax to people that are basically acquaintances.  Touche.  I am sensing a theme here…

Major confusion on my part—I thought last night’s episode was the Glee finale (and was a little freaked out when there was no cliff-hanger).  But! Good news—another episode on the 25th.  If you don’t watch this show already, please do!  Amazing music last night with Neil Patrick Harris as a guest star!  Next week: Lady GaGa!
